Intermittent fasting and the ketogenic diet to burn fat more efficiently

Intermittent fasting is a popular way to lose weight, and the ketogenic diet has become the go-to way to lose weight. So what happens when you combine them? You get a supercharged weight loss plan that will help you achieve your goals even faster!

Many people don't know what intermittent fasting is and how it works. In fact, there are several types of intermittent fasting. The main goal they have in common is to limit yourself to one or two meals a day, without snacking between meals.

By doing this, you absorb all your calories in one or two large meals instead of spreading them throughout the day, which means you eat less overall !

In fact, since we do not eat all day, our body enters a state of ketosis, that is to say, it burns fats instead of carbohydrates to produce Energy. When this happens, we begin to lose weight rapidly. You can drink water, black coffee (without milk or sugar), unsweetened tea and broth during the fast

A study looked at the effects of intermittent fasting on fat loss in overweight women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Researchers found that intermittent fasting helped women with PCOS to lose body fat faster than those who ate normally. In addition, it reduced insulin resistance, which could help reduce the risk of developing diabetes.

Another study looked at the effects of intermittent fasting on weight loss in obese men and women. Researchers found that both groups lost significant amounts of weight after 12 weeks of intermittent fasting compared to what they lost before starting this eating pattern.

Intermittent fasting isn't just about weight loss. It can also help you combat sagging skin after weight loss.

Intermittent fasting is a type of diet that involves alternating periods of eating and fasting. This is not just calorie restriction; it's actually a process that triggers autophagy, which is the body's natural way of cleaning up toxic proteins and damaged cells . Autophagy helps you look younger by reducing the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, and sagging skin after weight loss.

Intermittent fasting is a great way to lose weight, but it can be difficult for women to determine what type of intermittent fasting is best for them. There are many different types of intermittent fasting, so it's important to understand the differences between them and know what's best for your body.

The most common types of intermittent fasting are:

-Fast for 16 hours and eat within an 8 hour window. This type of intermittent fasting can be done every day or every other day. It is also known as the 16/8 diet or the time-restricted diet.

-Fasting for 24 hours every other day (or once a week). This type of fasting is known as one meal a day" or OMAD (one meal a day).

-Fast every other day while eating normally the other days of the week. This type of fasting is often called 5:2" because it involves eating normally five days a week and fasting two days a week (usually Monday and Thursday).

Do you fast and do the ketogenic diet at the same time?

Intermittent fasting is a weight loss method that aims to alternate periods of eating and fasting. We can thus catabolize (destroy) stored fat at the cellular level. Intermittent fasting is therefore a very effective method of losing weight, especially when combined with a ketogenic diet.

Keto is a carbohydrate-free diet that uses fat for energy instead of carbohydrates. Keto therefore allows you to burn your fat stored in the body and lose weight in a short time!

Combining intermittent fasting with the Keto diet therefore allows you to lose weight faster by burning fat faster than in the past!

Especially, the more keto-adapted you become, the less hungry you become, so fasting becomes more natural and easier.
